The mornings of our lives....

Well hi there.

Since last writing here - last night - about 14 hrs ago - OD has been up and running.  I down loaded my entire diary to a text file - not that I know where it is - and wrote two entries and posted four pictures.  One entry public and one private to  be made public later today..... except!  The diary is down again.  So to quote the FB guy from The Social Network - FB can't be down.   And so can't Blogger.   Let's hope.

So far today I heard from Becky at local clinic and I'm scheduling an ultrasound of my thyroid at the local hospital tomorrow or next week.  I called to see how my insurance is too.   And am waiting for another call.  Blood tests were good, no nodules, etc. etc.  Cosmetic issue?  Who the heck knows.

Talked to Deb on chat and they are coming home this weekend - tonight I believe.   Her college friend is coming to see her today - should be interesting - Pete Rose double dater and enhanced person  and interesting conversationalist.  What more can we want from life?

Jim just brought home a new/used pickup from my old high school mate the used car and real estate maven.   Standard cab, standard transmission.  Overpriced and has a broken console-y thing.  New bed liner though.  Almost the same color as the Buick, dark sparkly gray blue - called Granite I think.   I drove it to top of Grandma's hill and back.  Hard for me to keep track of what gear I was in and it spun on the gravel on the steep part of the hill.  Wish someone would make a front wheel default four-wheel drive truck.  It has the wrong tires and the wrong bumper for pulling a stock trailer and as I said it is priced too high - compared to a newer lower milage one that is no longer for sale in Owatanna.   But we'll see.  The blue truck is done.  Very little body left, hard to start, hard to shift, hard to close the doors.  Flashy vehicle it was though.  Had a good life.

I'm eating.  Thinking of eating.  Playing trivia.  Didn't hear from the train guy.  Didn't really hear from anyone.  Discussed people with the Indian guy.  Had an interesting  - god I need a new word - it's hard to type, and trite and I"m sick of it - never will I use it again.  What word?  I"m never using it again.  OK.  Screwtape was his name and he had a Porsche and an Audit and worked for FOX.

Guess this is over.  My ultrasound is tomorrow at 9:30.  Yippee.  The lunch with the artist, the art teacher, the piano teacher and the college custodian.
